A daily guessing game with a cryptic clue for a band or artist.
Rockbusters.lol is based on the Rockbusters Quiz from Ricky Gervais' 2001 radio show on XFM. The quiz was created by producer Karl Pilkington—as he explains it:
Uh, I give you like a cryptic clue and some initials and it sort of makes up a band. So an easy one that we did at the start was, uh, an exploding pet, A.K – Atomic Kitten. Yeah, that's how it works.
All of the clues, answers and audio are stored in a Sanity CMS. At midnight Melbourne time each day, Next JS revalidates the Rockbusters page and a new clue is revealed.

The game starts with only the initials of the answer, and after each incorrect guess more letters are revealed. Session storage is used to persist the game state and track player statistics.
